My Beliefs
Experience & Studies
My life is completely dedicated to serving Jesus Christ and His Body, the Church, through biblical soul care in a variety of ways. Discipleship, mentoring and teaching God’s Word with practical application is primary.
WOMEN’S WEEKENDS: One way I enjoy ministering is to gather women for a time of fellowship and encouragement from God’s Word. These are opportune times to delve deeper into the issues we face and provide time for Q & A as well. Please contact me for your upcoming retreat or conference, I would love to come and share with your group.
Biblical Counseling: Trained as a lay biblical counselor, I serve women individually who are seeking help by applying God’s Word to life’s circumstances. You may complete an online application to receive biblical counsel at POPLAR CREEK CHURCH Counseling Ministry
My Call: I have lived a very interesting life since God rescued me and planted me into His Kingdom on November 15, 1981, 2 weeks before my 22nd birthday. I am forever grateful to Him for the many ways He has changed me, loved me, and cared for me. I have known the heights of joy and the depths of pain, shame, rejection, abandonment, and sorrow, as many of you have. God has always been there with me, standing in the shadows at times, waiting for me to see that through it all He was faithful to me. He truly is the lover of my soul, and I love Him dearly.
In April of 1986, on a Friday night during a special conference at our church, the Holy Spirit impressed upon me a call to serve Him unreservedly. I have attempted to seek Him daily in His Word and prayer to discern what He is saying concerning this call upon my life. It is my desire to live my life for God’s glory and to understand what that may look like.
My theme for my life is: Psalm 1:1-3
Blessed is the woman that walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful. 2 But her delight is in the law of the Lord, and in his law she meditates day and night. 3 And she shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth her fruit in its season; her leaf shall not wither, and whatsoever she does shall prosper.
